At The Yoga Movement, our goal is to provide children with the opportunity to explore mindfulness and yoga. Our classes are thoughtfully crafted to promote emotional, social, and physical well-being – instilling a sense of peace and awareness in both body and mind. Consider adding our yoga and mindfulness classes to your school curriculum / Home Ed, as a weekly addition to your PE, PSHE, RE, PPA or Extra Curricular Club. Our experienced instructors understand the unique needs and learning styles of children, and are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment. We believe that by teaching children the tools of mindfulness and yoga, we can help them to develop important life skills such as self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and resilience. Through movement, breath, and relaxation techniques, children will learn to calm their minds, manage stress and anxiety, and improve their focus and concentration.

8 to 12 Year Olds

The Early Years Yoga Programme aims to enhance children's emotional, physical, and social well-being. Young children possess a natural inclination towards imagination and curiosity, making them receptive to stories that engage their senses and positive affirmations. Our yoga program focuses on delivering engaging story-led adventures, music, games, role-play, and other activities. It is aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is particularly beneficial for new starters. Each class consists of a warm-up, an exciting adventure, and a relaxation activity. We can tailor the classes to specific themes such as book week, environment, recycling, etc., to cater to individual preferences. By the end of each session, students will feel confident, energised, and prepared for their school day!

Creating Happy and Confident Children through Tailor-Made Programmes. ​In today's world, it's important to keep children engaged and stimulated. Our programmes are designed to allow children to express themselves, build self-confidence, and discover their true identity in a happy and healthy environment. We tailor each programme to the unique needs of each class, providing a multi-sensory learning experience to accommodate every child. Our approach to learning is centered around fun and imaginative story-led adventures. We use visualization and breathing techniques to improve emotional, social and physical well-being. Each class begins with a warm-up, followed by an adventure, and concludes with relaxation. By the end of each session, children feel energised, refreshed, and focused. Our programmes are highly favoured by many schools for PE, PPA, PSHE, RE & Clubs.

The program "Empowering Tweens through Yoga and Mindfulness" is tailored to develop fundamental life skills essential for children transitioning from childhood to adolescence. The curriculum emphasises theme-based classes that cater to their age group and school curriculum. These classes provide an ideal balance of enjoyable and interactive activities, challenging poses, educational themes, games, and a sense of tranquillity. The classes are structured to enhance the physical and psychological well-being of tweens. Our personalized classes integrate yoga, mindfulness practices, breathing techniques, and visualization, with a focus on improving academic performance. This approach has proven successful in several schools, where The Yoga Movement complements SATS preparation and equips students with skills to manage stress and anxiety while enhancing their memory retention, self-esteem, flexibility, and overall health.
